The Brief.
Berehaven Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy based in Castletownbere on the Beara peninsula in West Cork. The pharmacy is owned & led by Edel Hickey who is passionate about helping others, befriending young women & mothers and supporting the local community.
The goal for this project was to build brand awareness, standing out from large generic pharmacies & to make more of an impact in the community aiding those medically but also through health, beauty & gifting. It was important to show personality & build a strong online presence promoting their new website.
Lavender Purple was already a primary colour feeding through their existing brand in their physical pharmacy space so it was strongly considered in the rebrand.
The Result.
Berehaven Pharmacy was inspired by the heart of soul of it, the community. Combining a clean, minimal look with a fun family friendly feel through shapes & colour, the overall brand shows a welcoming yet professional environment. Wanting to also welcome a younger audience, the brand displays a more youthful vibe that is approachable, friendly & optimistic.
The geometrical shapes pull away from that bare clinical look. Using modern greens, a new lavender shade & complimentary secondary tones this communicates notes of health & lifestyle that is suited to all audiences showing that everyone in the community is welcome to this space.
What did Edel say
Olwyn guided us through the amazing experience of our brand refresh. She was truly amazing throughout each & every step & completely captured our ethos & environment. She executed it perfectly & was such a pleasure to work with. We’re loving our new look & everything looks so cohesive!
We also completed the Social Media Power Sessions with Olwyn. Since then, we’ve started planning content & our feed looks so aesthetically pleasing & is really starting to take shape. Thank you so much Olwyn!
