The Fuchsia
Gourmet Food & Coffee Truck
The Brief.
The Fuchsia is a new mobile gourmet food van that also offers home baking & barista coffee. It is located on the beautiful Beara peninsula in West Cork, Ireland, and will predominantly be situated on Allihies Beach providing stunning views with the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop.
A re-brand was necessary after moving on from a brick and mortar cafe due to Covid-19 restrictions and major shifts in tourism.

The Result.
Sea Fresh is a coastal term referring to the bracing of coastal air, that fresh seaside smell, used by seabirds to navigate their way around the oceans in search of food. This was the inspiration of the project noting the client’s fresh produce of daily baking, gourmet food and freshly ground coffee.
Allihies Beach is a man-made beach created due to the historical mining of copper and is well known for it’s pink sunsets surrounded by green fields. The mines were operational from the 1800s until the mid 1960s and shaped both the landscape and the village. The mines, sky and sea inspired the natural sand tones and bright pink hues for the colour palette. When the copper mines closed in the mid 1960s the core focus of the village shifted towards tourism and marked a new era for the locality. As a nod to this we added a 1960s inspired pattern noting the coastal landscape within its abstract forms.
What did Una say
Olwyn’s service exceeded my overall expectations tenfold. Her professionalism, patience and attention to detail is truly amazing and she has a bright future ahead in terms of how she approaches and executes client projects.
Olwyn is extremely passionate about what she does and it shines through in her work. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she won't complete the work until everything is perfect.
What exceeded my expectations was definitely reading the brand strategy document as it captured my brand so beautifully it nearly brought me to tears!
Olwyn also went above and beyond in the final days before the launch to help me get the website sorted when she had started working on other clients, I was so grateful for this.
